Welcome to the information page about the upcoming creative photography project for your fabulous ballet student! Here you will find everything you need to know for this project including group times, session information, what's included in your package and your session fee. Please read this page in its entirety. To confirm your enrollment in this project, please also complete the participation form below.

Project Details

  • Every group will have a scheduled time in which their group and each individual ballet student will be photographed. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your scheduled photography time to ensure the set is completed as we are on a tight schedule due to best lighting scenarios.
  • Please email four image ideas you would like to suggest to go along with your storyboard vision to Jeanie (and Cc Erin) by February 15. This will assist in the smooth preparation for your group's set. This will also provide a clearer visual from a feasibility standpoint in the event the set needs to be modified.
  • For individual portraits of your child: please practice and coordinate your individual poses prior to your scheduled time. Ms. Jeanie and Erin may finesse the pose during the portraits if necessary.
  • Submission of your registration form and project fee is due by February 15, 2017, which confirms your enrollment in this project.

The project fee for each student is SR 275 which includes the time, coordination and administration of Jeanie and Erin for this project in addition to an 8x10" studio print collage of the creative photo shoot with your child's image included within the collage. The collage will be a combination of the storyboard images reviewed and selected by Jeanie and Erin and the individual image of your child included in the collage will be your choice.  Parents will receive a proofing gallery of their child's individual portrait to choose the image included in their collage.

There are additional ordering options available but no additional purchase is required.

Once your form has been submitted, please deliver session fee to Erin in a sealed envelope with your child's name and class group listed on the front. *UPDATE* Please come to 16-472 via the back of the house on 15th street (the house at the corner right next to the park). The Nitty Gritty

  • Personal cameras and mobile phones for the purpose of photographing are not allowed to be used during the photo shoot.
  • We ask that parents provide their suggestions of their group's overall vision for their images, i.e. the storyboard by February 15. During the actual photography session, it will only be Jeanie and Erin directing the group.
  • Please make every effort not to interact with your child during the photo shoot, this creates a great deal of distraction and forces them to look at you instead of engaging in the overall direction.
  • Please contact your group's team captain for project related inquiries.
  • Most importantly: let's have fun! :)
