I bring a fully equipped mobile studio to your location: professional lighting, backdrop, and equipment set up before the first person walks in. That controlled setup is what makes every image consistent, from your managing partner to your newest team member, regardless of time of day or which side of the building you're in.

Each person gets individual direction throughout their session: posture, expression, where to look, what to do with their hands. No one stands there wondering if they're doing it right. We review images together as we go.

Every image goes through the same retouching process: stray hair, blemishes, teeth and eye whitening, glass glare removal — so the finished results look like they were planned that way. Polished, not unrecognizable. The same standard across everyone.

01 Contact Me

Reach out with a few details about your team size, location, and timeline. I'll come back to you with a quote, session plan, and everything you need to move forward. For larger sessions, I'll provide a scheduling document or link so team members can self-select their time slots — no administrative back-and-forth on your end.
02 Prepare

Once you're booked, I send a team preparation guide you can forward directly to your staff — what to wear, what to avoid, what to expect on the day. I'll also send backdrop colour options so you can align on a look before anyone shows up. The goal is that no one arrives guessing
03 Session Day

I arrive early to set up the mobile studio at your location before the first person walks in. Each team member gets individual direction throughout their session — posture, expression, where to look, what to do with their hands. We review images together as we go. No one is left standing awkwardly wondering if they did it right.
04 Delivery

Each team member receives their own private proofing gallery to review and select their favourite image. Final retouched images are delivered within 10 business days — in colour and black and white, print and web resolution, ready to use immediately. Individual galleries mean direct download for each person — no coordination required on your end.

What is the process?

When you book, I'll send a full What to Wear Guide to help you plan outfits that photograph well and match your brand. The goal is to look like the best version of yourself.

What's included in the price?

On-site team sessions start at $1295 (including gst) and include setup, the photo shoot at your office or event location, and one fully retouched professional headshot per person, delivered in colour and black and white, in both print and web resolution, ready to use immediately.

Retouching covers stray hair, skin blemishes, whitening of teeth and eyes, and glass glare removal. Additional images, rush delivery, and extended retouching are available — just ask when you reach out and I'll include it in your quote.

Should we use AI headshots instead?

A lot of teams are experimenting with AI-generated headshots right now. And honestly, some of them look convincing at first glance — until they don't.

The issue isn't just quality. It's what an AI headshot communicates the moment someone looks twice. The slightly off skin texture, the hands that don't quite look right, the background that feels generated — people clock it faster than they realize, even when they can't articulate exactly what's wrong. And in industries where trust is everything — law, finance, medicine, government — that moment of "something's off" is exactly the wrong first impression.

There's also something more fundamental. Your team page is where clients, recruits, and partners go to get a sense of the people behind the organization. An AI image isn't a photo of your team member — it's a generated approximation of what they might look like under ideal conditions. It sends a quiet signal that the person either didn't show up, or wasn't considered worth the investment.

A professional headshot says the opposite. It says this person is real, they're here, and this organization takes how it presents itself seriously. That's not a small thing when someone is deciding whether to pick up the phone.

What if someone is nervous about having their photo taken?

Honestly, most people who walk in are a little nervous — and a good portion of them have convinced themselves they're not photogenic. I've heard it hundreds of times. My job from the moment someone sits down is to make that feeling go away as quickly as possible. I guide every person through exactly what to do — posture, expression, where to look, what to do with their hands. We check in on the images together as we go so there are no surprises. By the end of most sessions, people are genuinely surprised by what they see. The ones who were most nervous usually have the hardest time choosing their favourite.

Where do sessions take place?

I bring my full mobile studio to your office or event venue anywhere across Greater Victoria and the Westshore — Victoria, Langford, Colwood, Saanich, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, Sidney, and surrounding areas. I need a minimum space of roughly 9 ft x 12 ft with a ceiling height of at least 9 ft — most boardrooms and larger meeting rooms work perfectly. If your space is on the smaller side, just mention it when you reach out and we'll figure out the right setup together. For teams of fewer than five, individual studio sessions at my Langford studio are also available and produce identical results.

How long does it take to get the final images?

Final retouched images are delivered within 10 business days of the session — often sooner depending on how quickly selections come in. Each person chooses their favourite from their individual proofing gallery, and retouching and delivery follows once selections are made. Rush delivery is available if you're working toward a specific deadline — just flag it when you book and I'll make sure the timeline works.

How do we ensure everyone looks consistent?

This is where a professional mobile studio setup makes all the difference. Because I control the lighting, backdrop, and technical setup, the results are consistent from the first person to the last — regardless of time of day, window light, or which side of the building you're in. Every image goes through the same retouching process. And if a team member misses the session day, they can come into my Langford studio and we recreate the exact same setup. The images are indistinguishable. Your team page looks like it was designed, not assembled.
